Thence Ecotrip fulfills an important role within the conglomerate of companies which form the Group and the lines of business (natural casings).
The experience in the sector of natural casings and spices acquired by Grupo Caro is due to the family’s previous business background, which dates back to the 1950s.
Grupo Caro was established as an entity in 1997, when the business was expanded to include machinery and all type of supplies for the meat industry.
Even though until this moment the natural casings came from national territory, in 2006 natural casings began to be imported from other countries.
Ecotrip was created in 2009 in order to be able to exclusively import and distribute natural casings.
